MOIL Hikes Manganese Ore Prices by 5% for February; One Grade Sees 10% Spike

Mumbai, February 01, 2026: MOIL Limited, a Government of India enterprise and a leading manganese ore producer, has announced price revisions for various grades of manganese ore and related products for the month of February 2026, effective from midnight of January 31/February 01, 2026.

In a regulatory filing submitted to the National Stock Exchange (NSE) and the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE), the company informed that the price revision is in line with its regular business practice.

Key Price Changes:

  • Ferro Grades (Mn 44% and above): Prices increased by 5%.

  • Ferro Grades (Below Mn 44%): Prices increased by 5%, except for grade BG4584, whose price remains unchanged from January 2026.

  • SMGR (Mn 30%) and Fines Grades: Prices increased by 5%.

  • SMGR (Mn 25%) and SMGR (Mn 20%) Grades: Prices remain unchanged.

  • Chemical Grades: Prices increased by 5%.

  • Metal Mandi Fines (DBF575 & MSF592): Prices remain unchanged.

  • Metal Mandi Fines (UKF532): Price increased significantly by 10%.

  • EMD (Electrolytic Manganese Dioxide): The basic price of ₹1,90,000 per metric tonne (PMT) remains unchanged.

The company stated that the new prices are applicable on the base prices prevailing since January 01, 2026.
