NHPC Director (Projects) met Odisha's Chief Secretary
During the meetings, Shri Sanjay Kumar Singh also discussed about the status of three Pumped Storage Projects in Odisha.
New Delhi: Shri Sanjay Kumar Singh, Director (Projects), NHPC, met Shri Manoj Ahuja, Chief Secretary, Government of Odisha, on 30th October 2025, and Shri Vishal Kumar Dev, Principal Secretary (Power), Government of Odisha, on 31st October 2025 and appraised the status of the ongoing solar project in Odisha. Shri Singh was accompanied by Shri Rajneesh Agarwal, Executive Director (PSP), and Shri Bidya Dhar Moharana, General Manager (Electrical).
During the meetings, Shri Sanjay Kumar Singh also discussed about the status of three Pumped Storage Projects in Odisha i.e. Masinta (1000 MW), Harbhangi (1020 MW) and Badanala (800 MW) which have been assigned to NHPC for PFR/DPR preparation. He further solicited their support for early allocation of these projects, enabling NHPC to commence execution of these projects on fast-track basis.
