NHPC Hosts Vasant Utsav 2026; CMD Bhupendra Gupta Extends Greetings

Faridabad, February 22, 2026: NHPC Limited, India’s 100% renewable energy company, celebrated ‘Vasant Utsav 2026’ with great enthusiasm at its residential complex in Faridabad.

The event was inaugurated by Shri Bhupendra Gupta, Chairman and Managing Director, NHPC, along with Smt. Shikha Gupta, Chairperson of the NHPC Mahila Kalyan Samiti.

Addressing the gathering, the CMD extended his greetings on the occasion of Vasant Utsav and highlighted that the spring season symbolizes renewed energy, fresh enthusiasm and hope. He remarked that after the chill of winter, when the weather becomes pleasant, crops begin to flourish, new buds bloom on trees and colorful flowers blossom, nature conveys the message that change is fundamental to life and progress follows every pause.

The event was attended by Shri Uttam Lal, Director (Personnel); Shri Sanjay Kumar Singh, Director (Projects); Shri Suprakash Adhikari, Director (Technical); along with members of the NHPC Mahila Kalyan Samiti – Smt. Mona Lal, Smt. Garima Singh and Smt. Soma Adhikari.

Cultural performances by local artists from Mathura, featuring folk songs, music and traditional dance, captivated the audience and added vibrancy to the celebration, making the event memorable.
