New Delhi: State-owned power major NHPC Limited has announced a key change in its senior management, in line with regulatory disclosure requirements under SEBI (LODR) Regulations, 2015.

According to the company’s exchange filing, Shri Rajat Gupta, Executive Director, has ceased to hold office upon attaining the age of superannuation, effective January 31, 2026 (end of day).

Simultaneously, Shri Anish Gouraha has been appointed as Executive Director, effective February 1, 2026, following his promotion within the organization.

Shri Anish Gouraha holds a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering and an MBA in Human Resources. He joined NHPC on June 9, 1997, and brings with him 28 years of extensive experience in the power sector. His elevation reflects NHPC’s continued focus on strengthening leadership through internal talent development.

The changes fall under the category of Senior Management Personnel, defined as one level below the Board of Directors, and have been duly intimated to BSE and NSE for information and record.

NHPC reaffirmed its commitment to transparent corporate governance and timely disclosures to stakeholders.
