NHPC’s Kishanganga Power Station Achieves Record 1506.52 MUs in FY 2025–26, Highest Since 2018
Kishanganga, March 19, 2026: The NHPC Limited’s Kishanganga Power Station achieved a historic milestone by generating 1506.52 million units (MUs) of electricity in the financial year 2025–26 as of March 17, 2026. This performance surpasses the station's previous record of 1505.97 MUs in 2021–22, marking its highest output since its commissioning in 2018.
Shri Bhupender Gupta, Chairman and Managing Director of NHPC, lauded the dedication and perseverance of the Kishanganga team, emphasizing the challenging operational conditions under which this achievement was realized.
