NLC India's arm enters into joint venture with RVUNL for green energy projects

New Delhi: The wholly owned subsidiary of NLC India Ltd, NLC India Renewables Limited, has incorporated a Joint Venture Company (JVC) with Rajasthan Rajya Vidyut Utpadan Nigam Limited (RVUNL).

The JV has been named as “NIRL Rajasthan Renewables Limited” with equity participation of 74:2,6, respectively, to undertake Green Energy Projects.

The Ministry of Corporate Affairs has issued a Certificate of Incorporation for the same on 2nd June, 2025.

The joint venture has been established to carry out the purpose of developing, operating, and maintaining renewable energy projects.

The Ministry of Coal has conveyed the approval of DIPAM for the formation of the company.

Shares of NLC India are trading down by 2.83 per cent at Rs 232.78 at the BSE.
