NLC India to set up 450 MW ISTS, Wind-Solar Hybrid Power project
NTPC awarded a Letter of Award to NLCIL to set up of Wind-Solar Hybrid Power Project. The projects will be set up in two states, Rajasthan and Gujarat.
New Delhi, June 28, 2025: NLC India Limited yesterday, on June 27, received a Letter of Award from NTPC Limited. The said contract is to set up of 450 MW ISTS (Inter-State Transmission System) Connected Wind-Solar Hybrid Power Project and Supply of Hybrid Power generated from the aforesaid project to NTPC Limited.
The company will supply power for a period of 25 years under PPA and will be developed in two locations, Bikaner, Rajasthan – 300 MW and Bhuj, Gujarat – 150 MW.
The scheduled commencement of supply Date (SCSD) for supplying power from the full Project capacity shall be within a period of 24 (twenty-four) months from the Effective Date of the PPA.
