NLCIL CMD reviews progress of 50 MW solar plant

Neyveli: Shri. Prasanna Kumar Motupalli, Chairman and Managing Director (CMD) of NLC India Limited (NLCIL), who has been accorded with prestigious IPMA Level A Certification, “Certified Project Director”, visited the first-of-its-kind 50 MW Solar Plant under development on reclaimed overburden dumps of mined-out land at Mine II, Neyveli.

During the visit, he conducted a detailed review of the project’s progress and directed the team to expedite execution to ensure completion as per schedule, considering its National significance.

Accompanying Shri Motupalli during the review were Dr. Suresh Chandra Suman, Director (Mines) & Director (P&P) A/C, along with senior officials of NLCIL from the Project and Planning domain.

The visit underscores NLCIL’s commitment to effective project management, sustainable mining practices, and the company’s ambitious net-zero targets.
