NTPC Bongaigaon Bardwi Shikla Ladies Club organized mental health awareness session

The Bardwi Shikla Ladies Club of NTPC Bongaigaon, under the leadership of its President, Smt. Kasturi Maitra, organized an impactful mental health awareness session on January 17, 2025. This initiative, conducted as part of NTPC’s “AHWAHAN” Health & Wellness policy, marked a significant step towards promoting mental well-being among the ladies of the NTPC Bongaigaon township.

The session featured Mrs. U. Basumatary, a renowned psychologist from RNB Hospital, Kokrajhar, who shared valuable insights into stress management. Her engaging talk focused on recognizing stress triggers, implementing practical coping strategies, and building resilience to navigate life’s challenges effectively. In her address, Smt. Maitra emphasized NTPC’s commitment to holistic wellness, recognizing mental health as a crucial aspect of a balanced and fulfilling life. She encouraged participants to embrace the strategies discussed during the session and foster a supportive environment for collective well-being.

The event, coordinated by the Medical Cell of NTPC Bongaigaon,which was attended by Smt. Soumya Kar, Vice President of the Bardwi Shikla Ladies Club, and Smt. Jhumita Biswas, a senior club member. This awareness session reflects NTPC’s ongoing efforts to empower its community members with knowledge and support to maintain a healthy work-life balance.
