NTPC Green Energy Invites Bids for 215 MW Wind Energy Project at Anantapur-II, Andhra Pradesh
New Delhi: NTPC Green Energy Limited (NGEL), a wholly-owned subsidiary of NTPC Limited, has issued an abridged invitation for bids for the development of a 215 MW Wind Energy Project for INGEL at ISTS Substation Anantapur-II in Andhra Pradesh (Tranche-III). The project will follow Domestic Competitive Bidding under a Single Stage Two Envelope system, with separate techno-commercial and price bids.
Project Overview & Scope
This significant renewable energy initiative will strengthen India’s wind energy capacity and support the national renewable energy goals. The project includes:

ALMM-listed Wind Turbines: Supply, installation, and commissioning of WTGs with minimum 3 MW capacity.

Civil & Electrical Works: WTG foundations, unit substations, pooling substations, internal roads, control rooms, EHV transmission lines, and SCADA/SAS systems.

Grid Integration: Interconnection with Anantapur ISTS Substation-II, with the employer arranging ISTS connectivity.

Land & Approvals: Acquisition of land, Right of Way (ROW), and all statutory clearances including environmental, forest, MOD, and power evacuation approvals.

Operation & Maintenance: 10 years of comprehensive O&M, covering turbines, substations, internal and external transmission systems, roads, and mandatory spare parts.
