NTPC Green Energy starts eighth part capacity of Khavda-I Solar PV Project
New Delhi: Shares of NTPC Ltd’s subsidiary, NTPC Green Energy Ltd are surged over by 3.02% as the company has announced that it has commercialised the eighth part capacity of 1255 MW Khavda-I Solar PV Project in Gujarat.
According to the exchange filing, the company informed that the eighth part capacity of 69.04 MW out of 1255 MW Khavda-I Solar PV Project located in Gujarat under CPSU scheme Phase-II Tranche-III of NTPC Renewable Energy Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of NTPC Green Energy Limited, is declared on Commercial Operation w.e.f. 00:00 hrs of 25.12.2025.
The current commercial capacity of NTPC Green Energy Limited Group stands at 7,927.26 MW. With the addition of this capacity, the total installed capacity of the NGEL Group will increase to 7,996.30 MW.
NTPC Green Energy shares are closed at Rs 93.21, up by 3.02% at BSE.
