NTPC Ltd has invited Expression of Interest (EoI) to set up a pilot/utility-scale Compressed Air and Liquefied Air based Long Duration Energy Storage (LDES) project. Last date: 23 Feb 2026.

New Delhi: NTPC Limited invites Expression of Interest for setting up a pilot/utility scale project for Compressed Air based including Liquified Air based Long Duration Energy Storage System (LDES). a. Interested APPLICANTs may download the documents of EOI free of cost from http://ntpctender.ntpc.co.in. The last date for the submission of EOI is 23.02.2026.

The key roles and responsibilities of the stakeholders under the project shall include but not limited to the following:

• Land on lease basis for installation and commissioning of the system.

• Installation of Complete plant and Operation & Maintenance based on the implementation model.

The response validity of the bid is 6 months from the last date for EOI submission. Date of opening of EoI response is 24.02.2026
