NTPC Limited has invited domestic bids for the supply and installation of a 15.75/230 KV, 195 MVA Steam Turbine Generator Transformer. This "Works Contract" includes everything from manufacturing and testing to site erection and commissioning at the NTPC Anta facility.
To qualify, bidders must have experience with 220 KV or higher class transformers and a minimum annual turnover of ₹7.74 Crores. Following the "Make in India" initiative, only Class-I local suppliers (with at least 60% local content) are eligible to participate.
The project requires an Earnest Money Deposit (EMD) of ₹50 Lakhs, payable online or via e-Bank Guarantee. The deadline for bid submission is January 16, 2026, with technical bids opening on January 19. A pre-bid meeting is scheduled for January 6 via Microsoft Teams to assist interested manufacturers.
