NTPC Vindhyachal Celebrates Innovation at NOCET 2026

NTPC Vindhyachal successfully organised the NTPC Open Competition for Executive Talent (NOCET) 2026 on August 26, 2026, providing executives a dynamic platform to showcase innovative ideas, creativity and impactful business solutions.

A total of 11 teams, encompassing from Executive Trainees to AGMs, participated with great enthusiasm. The presentations were evaluated by a distinguished panel of senior leadership team from the station comprising Shri Kishore Kumar Hota, ED (Vindhyachal); Shri M. Suresh, GM (O&M); Shri Debabrata Tripathy, GM (TS & Projects) and an external judge- Shri Nishant Gupta, Head (L&D), Reliance Power Sasan.

The team comprising of Shri Suman Kumar Singh, AGM (Operation); Shri Saurabh Banaudha, AGM (IT); Shri Baljeet Yadav, DGM (Operation) and Smt Saswati Garnaik, Senior Manager (IT) secured the First Position, while Shri Dheer Singh Chauhan, DGM (C&I) and Shri Utkarsh Shukla, Engineer (C&I) emerged Second.

The team of Shri Deepak Kumar, Senior Manager (Operation); Shri Nilesh Nayan, Senior Manager (P&S); Shri Shivam Verma, Engineer (Operation); Shri Sajid Nezam, Sr Assistant Engineer (Operation) secured the Third Position. The competition and the level of participation reflected the station's strong culture of collaboration and continuous improvement, encouraging executives to innovate, translate creative thinking into practical solutions for organisational excellence.
