POWERGRID pays Rs 574.35 Crore to Govt as Final Dividend for FY 2024-25
A cheque was presented to Shri Manohar Lal, Hon’ble Union Minister of Power, by Shri R. K. Tyagi, CMD, POWERGRID in the presence of Directors of POWERGRID.
Gurugram: Power Grid Corporation of India Limited has paid Rs 574.35 Crore as final dividend for FY 2024-25 to Ministry of Power, Government of India at New Delhi. With this, the total dividend (including interim dividends) paid by POWERGRID for FY 2024-25 to Government of India amounts to Rs 4,297.40 Crore.
A cheque was presented to Shri Manohar Lal, Hon’ble Union Minister of Power, by Shri R. K. Tyagi, CMD, POWERGRID in the presence of Directors of POWERGRID.
As of 31st August 2025, POWERGRID has commissioned and is operating 286 Sub-stations and more than 1,80,864 ckm transmission lines and 5,77,331 MVA of transformation capacity.
