POWERGRID's Subsidiary Commissions Key Transmission Project for 8.1 GW Solar Zone in Rajasthan
New Delhi: Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd (POWERGRID) on Friday announced the successful commissioning of a critical inter-state transmission project aimed at evacuating renewable energy from Rajasthan's mega solar zones.
In a regulatory filing, the Maharatna PSU informed the stock exchanges that its wholly-owned subsidiary, POWERGRID Bhadla Sikar Transmission Limited, has completely commissioned the transmission system strengthening scheme for the 8.1 GW Solar Energy Zones in Rajasthan (Phase II – Part E).
