RailTel bags ₹115 crore order from Power Grid
New Delhi, 11 March, 2026: RailTel Corporation of India Limited has secured a major order worth ₹115.20 crore from Power Grid Corporation of India Limited, according to a regulatory filing made by the company on March 11, 2026.
The company informed stock exchanges that it has received a Letter of Intent (LoI) from Power Grid Corporation for providing services under the project. The estimated size of the order stands at ₹1,15,20,49,000 (including taxes).
Project Execution Timeline
As per the disclosure submitted under Regulation 30 of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015, the contract is domestic in nature and involves service-related work.
The project is expected to be executed over a long-term period, with the completion deadline set for September 10, 2034.
Regulatory Compliance and Disclosure
RailTel confirmed that the order has been awarded by a domestic entity and does not fall under any related party transaction. The company also clarified that neither the promoter nor the promoter group has any interest in the entity awarding the contract.
According to the filing, the work order was received on March 10, 2026 at 18:43 hours, and the disclosure was made in compliance with SEBI’s listing regulations and the latest master circular on corporate disclosures.
