REC Ltd’s arm enters into JV with BHEL for Renewable Energy Development
New Delhi: State-run NBFC, REC Ltd has announced that the Board of Directors in its meeting held on 8th May, 2025, declares the formation ofa Joint Venture of REC Power Development and Consultancy Ltd (RECPDCL) and BHEL in the shareholding of 50:50.
The Board of Directors in a meeting has announced the formation of Joint Venture between REC Power Development and Consultancy Limited ("RECPDCL" . a wholly owned subsidiary of REC Ltd) and Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited, a Maharatna PSU under Ministry of Heavy Industries in the shareholding ratio of 50:50 for joint development of Renewable Energy / other Power and Infrastructure Projects etc ., subject to requisite clearances/ concurrences and approvals of Statutory I Administrative Authorities, wherever required.
Shares of REC Ltd are plunged by over 5.12% at Rs 389.90.
