Sanjay Jaiswal to join Chair of Estimates Committee, Baijayant Panda to Head PSU Panel
New Delhi: BJP MP Sanjay Jaiswal has been named the 2025–2026 Chairperson of the Committee on Estimates by Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla. The 30-member committee was established by Mr. Birla on 01.05.2025 and will serve until April 30 of the following year.
P P Chaudhary and Rajiv Pratap Rudy of the BJP, Kumari Selja and Deepender Singh Hooda of the Congress, Awadhesh Prasad of the SP, Kalyan Banerjee of the TMC, Dayanidhi Maran of the DMK, and Arvind Sawant of the Shiv Sena (UBT) are among the Lok Sabha MPs who are members of the Committee.
Additionally, BJP MP Baijayant Panda has been named by Mr. Birla as the 2025–2026 Chairperson of the Committee on Public Undertakings. There are seven Rajya Sabha members and fifteen Lok Sabha members on the 22-member committee.
