SECL pays emotional tribute to Jayant Kumar Khamari (IRSE), Chief Vigilance Officer
Jayant Kumar Khamari, Indian Railway Service of Engineers (IRSE) met with an accident near Raigarh while returning from Mahanadi Coalfields Limited and sadly passed away during treatment at Medanta Hospital on June 12, 2024.

New Delhi: Shri Jayant Kumar Khamari, Indian Railway Service of Engineers (IRSE), age 50, who was posted as Chief Vigilance Officer of SECL from 24th May 2023, met with an accident near Raigarh while returning from Mahanadi Coalfields Limited and sadly passed away during treatment at Medanta Hospital on June 12, 2024.

On 14.06.2024 at 12.15 pm, in the visitor's room at SECL Headquarters Administrative Building, Chairman-cum-Managing Director Dr. Prem Sagar Mishra, Director (Finance) Shri G Srinivasan, Director Technical (Operations) Shri SN Kapri, Director Technical (Planning/Projects) Shri Franklin Jayakumar, Director (Personnel) Shri Biranchi Das, Shri Nathulal Pandey of Steering Committee, Shri Bajrangi Shahi of Welfare Committee, Shri A.K. Pandey, heads of various departments, trade union representatives, officers and employees organized a condolence meeting and paid tribute to the departed soul.

Two minutes of silence was observed in the condolence meeting and prayers were offered to God for peace of the departed soul and for giving strength to the bereaved family to bear this loss.
