SJVN issues tender for Selection of Wind Power Developers for 600 MW Power Project
The company shall enter into a Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with the successful bidders selected based on this RfS for the purchase of power for a period of 25 years based on the terms, conditions, and provisions of the RfS and PPA.
SJVN Ltd, a PSU, has invited proposals for Request for Selection (RfS) for “Selection of Wind Power Developers for Supply of 600 MW Wind Power from ISTS-connected Wind Power Projects in India under Tariff-Based Competitive Bidding” on a Build Own Operate (BOO) basis.
The company shall enter into a Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with the successful bidders selected based on this RfS for the purchase of power for a period of 25 years based on the terms, conditions, and provisions of the RfS and PPA.
As per the official document, the Power procured by SJVN from the above projects has been provisioned to be sold to Punjab State Power Corporation Limited (PSPCL) or any other buying entity(ies).

The minimum project capacity or contracted capacity that can be offered by the bidder shall be 50 MW, and the maximum project capacity shall be 300 MW. The total cumulative project capacity to be awarded under this RfS shall be 600 MW.
The Document Fee is Rs 29,500, including GST, to be submitted through NEFT/RTGS transfer in the account of SJVN, along with the response to RfS. While the bidding fee is Rs 15 lakh with 18% GST. The last date to submit the bid online is 20th October 2025.
