State Power Minister appreciates BHEL's contribution towards building Aatmanirbhar Bharat at GRIDCON 2025

Sh. Shripad Yesso Naik, Hon’ble Union Minister of State for Power and New & Renewable Energy, while visiting the BHEL pavilion, appreciated the company’s contribution towards building an Aatmanirbhar Bharat. 

BHEL is participating in GRIDCON 2025, an International Conference-cum-Exhibition, organised by POWERGRID in association with CIGRE, India. The theme of the exhibition, on from 9th to 11th March 2025 at Yashobhoomi, New Delhi, is ‘Innovations in Grid Resilience: Strategies for Enhancing Reliability, Sustainability, and Adaptability of Power Transmission System’.

Sh. Shripad Yesso Naik, Hon’ble Union Minister of State for Power and New & Renewable Energy, while visiting the BHEL pavilion, appreciated the company’s contribution towards building an Aatmanirbhar Bharat. Other dignitaries who visited the BHEL pavilion included Mr. Konstantin O. Papailiou, President, CIGRE and Sh. R.K. Tyagi, CMD, POWERGRID. Ms. Bani Varma, Director (IS&P) and Director (E, R&D) - Additional Charge, BHEL and Ms. Renuka Gera, former Director (IS&P), BHEL, also paid a visit to the stall.

BHEL is showcasing the company's capabilities, technologies, achievements, products and systems in identified focus areas like HVDC, FACTS, Electrical Substations & Switchyards, Electrical Products, Fuel Cell, etc. through 3D Exhibits, Audio-Visuals and other interactive media.
