BHEL shares gains, company declares to be part of NISAR Satellite Mission
New Delhi: State-run Bharat Heavy Electricals Ltd (BHEL) under the Ministry of Heavy Industries, is honored to be associated with the first-ever joint mission of ISRO and NASA, NISAR. Shares of the company gains over 1.75% in the current trading session.
With this commendable collaboration, BHEL’s Electronics Systems Division, Bengaluru, manufactured three space-grade solar panels and one space-grade Li-ion battery for the NISAR satellite. Each solar panel, approximately 4 sq. meters in size with a power capacity of 1100 watts, was developed using multi-junction solar cells.

Additionally, a Li-ion battery of approx. 11 kWh capacity, using cylindrical Li-ion cells, was manufactured and tested at the same facility.

The stock opened today at Rs 243.01 and reached an intraday high of Rs 248.37 at BSE. The dividend yield is at 0.20% and the 52-week high is at Rs 305.80.
