NALCO, SAIL to announce Q3 Results on 30 Jan, What to expect in FY results amid govt’s move on import duty on steel products?

MUMBAI: Amid government’s strategic move towards the steel sectors of the country, the metal stocks like NALCO and SAIL are going to declare the financial results of the December end quarter which could give a big impact to net income boost and other revenue sectors of the companies.

Shares of both the metal stocks NALCO (National Aluminium Company Ltd) and SAIL (Steel Authority of India Ltd) are trending higher in the green zone as the both the companies will soon declare the financial results.

NALCO has declared the exchanges that it will consider the second interim dividend on 30th January, 2026. The company has declared 52 dividends since August 2000. In last 1 year, NALCO has declared an equity dividend amounting to Rs 10.50 per share. The current dividend yield is at 2.77%.

NALCO Q2FY26 Highlights:

Revenue of Operations: Rs 4.29K crore, up by 7.27%

Net Income: Rs 1.43K crore, up by 36.71%

Net Profit Margin: 33.31%, up by 27.43%

Shares of SAIL are also trending higher by 0.75% and the company is expecting to give a profit return of 10%-15% in the upcoming financial results.

In September-end quarter the Revenue was standing at Rs 26.7K crore, up by 8.22%. However, Net Income was fallen short by -53.33% at Rs 418.72 crore.

Recently, in December 2025 the Indian Government has imposed a three-year safeguard duty on select steel imports to protect the domestic industry from low-cost, high-volume inflows, particularly from China, Vietnam, and Nepal.
