PSU Stock in focus: CONCOR allocates 15.23 crore bonus equity shares

Shares of Container Corporation of India Ltd are in focus as the state-owned company has allotted 15.23 crore bonus equity shares as on 07.07.2025.

As per the exchange filing, the company has informed that Board of Directors in its meeting held on 07.07.2025 has allotted 15,23,23,587 fully paid-up bonus equity shares of Rs.5 /- each to eligible shareholders.

Further, the bonus share were allotted to the shareholders, whose names appeared in the register of members/ list of beneficiary owners as .on 04.07.2025, being the record date fixed for this purpose.

After the above allotment, the paid up equity share capital of the Company stands increased to Rs.380,80,89,675/- consisting of 76,16,17,935 equity shares of Rs.5/- each from earlier Rs.304,64,71,740/- consisting of 60,92,94,348 equity shares of Rs.5/- each, the company added in the filing.

On July 4, the company turned ex-bonus after 1:4 bonus issue. The company has consistently declared bonus issues for its shareholders and has declared the first bonus issue of 1:1 in April 2008. In September 2013, it has issued 1:2 bonus issue. In nutshell, the company has declared almost five bonus issues.

Shares of CONCOR closed today at Rs 596.95, down by 0.45%. The stock was opened today at Rs 602.00. The 52-week high is at Rs 860.00 at BSE. The stock has fallen down by -6.84% in last six months.
