RailTel Announces E-7 Executive Vacancy 2026 | High-Level ICT & Cyber Security Role

RailTel Corporation of India Ltd, a Navratna PSU under the Ministry of Railways, has released Vacancy Notice No. 04/2026 inviting applications for one Executive post in E-7 grade on re-employment basis. The position is based in Delhi/NCR and focuses on strategic leadership in emerging and mission-critical technology domains.

Position Details

• Post: Executive (E-7 Level) – 1 Vacancy

• Location: Delhi/NCR

• Mode: Re-employment (Initially 1 year, extendable up to age of 65 years)

• Eligible Service: Central/State Government or CPSUs

• Age Limit: Below 62 years as on closing date

• Pay Scale: IDA ₹1,00,000 – ₹2,60,000 + allowances

Key Responsibilities

The selected candidate will lead strategic initiatives in:

• Data Centre operations

• Cyber Security (IT/OT)

• Cloud Technology

• AI / IoT / Digital Twin

• Network Security

• Emerging technologies aligned with Digital India and mission-critical ICT infrastructure

Minimum Eligibility Criteria

• Retired/Resigned/Serving officers from:

  • Minimum SG Level 13 (CDA scale), OR

  • E-7 level (IDA scale) from CPSEs

• Minimum 30 years of experience in Government/PSU

• Proven leadership in designing & managing secure, resilient national ICT infrastructure

• Expertise in cybersecurity architecture, threat intelligence & risk mitigation

• Strong knowledge of virtualization & cloud infrastructure

• BE/B.Tech/B.Sc (Engg)/MSc Tech/MCA or equivalent from a reputed institute
