RITES Invites Retired Govt/PSU Professionals for HORC Consultancy Project

New Delhi: RITES Limited has invited applications from retired Government and Public Sector Undertaking (PSU) professionals for contractual positions on fixed remuneration. The recruitment is linked to the company’s General Consultancy Services for the Haryana Orbital Rail Corridor (HORC) project.

The rail corridor project will connect **Palwal to Sonipat via Sohna, Manesar and Kharkhoda in Haryana, and is expected to strengthen regional rail connectivity in the National Capital Region.

Vacancy Details

RITES is seeking experienced professionals for the following roles:

Deputy Project Director (Electrification)

Vacancy Code: 08/26
Number of Positions: 1
Qualification: Graduate degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering from a recognized university or institution.
Preferred Candidates: Retired or voluntary retired officers from the Indian Railway Service of Electrical Engineers (IRSEE) or equivalent railway systems.

Experience Requirements:

Minimum 20 years of total professional experience.
At least 10 years of experience in railway, metro rail, regional rail, or suburban rail electrification projects.
Candidates should have at least 5 years of experience as project in-charge or one level below in project management, consultancy, or construction agencies.

Alternatively, applicants with 3 years of experience in JA Grade or higher in the construction department of Indian Railways or Railway Electrification, or those holding senior engineering roles in organizations such as IRCON International Limited, Rail Vikas Nigam Limited, Konkan Railway Corporation Limited, Dedicated Freight Corridor Corporation of India Limited, or metro rail corporations may also be eligible.

Geotechnical Expert

Qualification: M.Tech in Geotechnical Engineering or equivalent from a recognized institution.

Experience Requirements:

Minimum 10 years of professional experience after qualification.
At least 7 years of experience in geotechnical investigation and preparation or review of geotechnical interpretation reports for tunnels, bridges, and infrastructure structures in railway or highway projects.

Alternatively, candidates with 3 years of experience in gazetted engineering cadre of railways or managerial roles in geotechnical engineering departments of major infrastructure PSUs may apply.

Preference will be given to professionals who have worked on projects financed by Multilateral Development Banks (MDBs).

The Haryana Orbital Rail Corridor project is a key rail infrastructure initiative designed to improve freight and passenger connectivity across industrial hubs in Haryana and the National Capital Region.
