New Delhi: Hindustan Zinc Limited has reinforced its position as a leader in sustainable and scientific mining by delivering an exceptional performance at the 36th Mines Environment and Mineral Conservation (MEMC) Week, organized by the Indian Bureau of Mines (IBM).

Showcasing excellence in safety, innovation, and environmental stewardship, Rampura Agucha Mines, Sindesar Khurd Mines, and Mochia Mine (Zawar Group of Mines) secured the first, second, and third overall positions, respectively. The achievement highlights Hindustan Zinc’s consistent focus on responsible mining practices and adherence to the highest environmental and operational standards.

Further strengthening the company’s strong showing at the prestigious event, Balaria, Zawarmala, Baroi, Rajpura Dariba, and Kayad Mines were also honoured across multiple technical, safety, and environmental categories.
