State-owned energy major ONGC has been awarded “Exploration Company of the Year” at the FIPI Oil & Gas Annual Awards, reaffirming its leadership in safe, efficient and sustainable reserve accretion in India’s upstream sector.

In another significant milestone, Shell Companies in India, representing the PMT Joint Venture comprising ONGC, Reliance Industries Limited and Shell, received the “Best Managed Project of the Year” award for the Tapti Decommissioning Project. The project marks India’s first offshore decommissioning initiative, setting new benchmarks in execution excellence, safety standards and environmental stewardship.
