SJVN honoured with Ministry of Power's special award 'Rajbhasha Prabha'
On this occasion, the dignitaries also released the in-house magazine of SJVN, Official Language Section.
Shimla 19 June, 2025: SJVN was honoured today with Ministry of Power's special award 'Rajbhasha Prabha' for best implementation of Official Language Policy during the year 2023-24.
This award was received by Shri Bhupendra Gupta, Chairman & Managing Director (Additional Charge), SJVN from the hands of Hon'ble Power and Housing & Urban Affairs Minister Shri Manohar Lal during a meeting of Hindi Advisory Committee of Ministry of Power held in New Delhi. Hon'ble Minister of State for Power Shri Shripad Yesso Naik, Secretary Ministry of Power Shri Pankaj Aggarwal and senior officers of undertakings/institutions/corporations under the control of Ministry of Power were present on this occasion.

Shri Bhupendra Gupta, Chairman and Managing Director (Additional Charge) informed that this award has been given to SJVN for the best implementation of Official Language Policy in various projects and offices of the Corporation.

Under this, the Ministry of Power evaluates the entries received keeping in view all the aspects related to the implementation of the Official Language Policy. By accelerating the increasing use of Hindi, along with power generation, the light of the Official Language is also spread to every corner of the country.
