IBA Extends Bid Submission Deadline for Leadership Development Programme | PSBs & FIs 2026
New Delhi, February 16, 2026: The Indian Banks’ Association (IBA) has extended the deadline for submission of technical bids under its Request for Proposal (RFP) for the Leadership Development Programme (LDP) for Public Sector Banks (PSBs) and Financial Institutions (FIs) in India.
The one-time extension now allows agencies, firms, and institutions interested in designing and delivering the leadership development programme to submit their proposals by February 23, 2026, at 11:00 AM. This initiative, aimed at building the next generation of digitally savvy, strategic leaders for PSBs and FIs, includes both domestic and overseas training components, spanning behavioural, leadership, and functional competencies.
The programme is expected to groom around 75 senior management participants annually, providing them with comprehensive exposure through online modules, in-person workshops, and a mandatory five-day overseas leg. The selected agency will also develop governance frameworks to measure learning outcomes and assess shifts in leadership competencies.
IBA has emphasized that no further extensions will be granted, urging bidders to ensure timely submission. Interested entities can access the RFP, pre-bid clarifications, and related announcements on the IBA website.
