Karur Vysya Bank Opens 16 New Branches in a Single Day; Network Reaches 919
Karur Vysya Bank (KVB) has expanded its presence by inaugurating 16 new branches on a single day, taking its total branch network to 919 across the country.
The new branches have been opened across five states and regions:

Tamil Nadu: 6 branches

Delhi NCR: 1 branch
Shri Ramesh Babu, Managing Director & CEO of Karur Vysya Bank, inaugurated the Gachibowli branch in Hyderabad and opened the remaining branches virtually through video conference.

The expansion is part of KVB’s strategy to deepen its presence in metropolitan, urban, semi-urban and rural markets. The new branches will serve retail customers as well as MSMEs and agricultural businesses, while complementing the Bank’s digital banking network.
As of 30 June 2026, the Bank’s total business stood at ₹2,27,267 crore, with deposits of ₹1,22,587 crore and advances of ₹1,04,680 crore. The Bank reported its highest-ever quarterly net profit of ₹756 crore in Q1 FY27.
