About the Company

CONCOR was incorporated in March 1988. It provides multimodal logistics support for containerised cargo through a network of EXIM and Domestic Terminals across India. The company has been restructured into 4 Areas with 9 Cluster offices and 67 ICDs/CFSs/Strategic Tie-ups. Government of India holds 54.80% stake (as on 31 March 2026). It employed 1,250 regular employees as on 31 March 2026.

Job Role

Director (Project & Services) is a Board-level position reporting to the Chairman and Managing Director. The incumbent will be responsible for:

• Planning, designing and implementation of multimodal container terminals

• Maintenance and design of mechanical handling systems

• Selection of handling equipment

• Upgradation of existing terminals and technological upgradation of assets

• Promoting indigenisation under the Atmanirbhar scheme

Key Eligibility Criteria

• Age: Minimum 45 years (with residual service as per category).

• Employment Status: Regular employment in CPSE, Central Government (Group A/AIS/Armed Forces), eligible SPSE (turnover ₹5,000 crore+), or private company/JV (turnover ₹5,000 crore+).

• Qualification: Engineering Graduate from a recognised University/Institution. MBA/PG Diploma in Management will be an added advantage.

• Experience: Minimum five years of cumulative experience in project planning/execution/monitoring of Multi-modal Transport logistics/domestic transport system during the last ten years. Experience in construction of mega container terminals, handling equipment, Railway Terminal Yards/Sidings and IT tools will be preferred.

• Pay Scale: Must meet the prescribed length of service in the eligible scale.

Duration of Appointment

Five years from the date of joining or up to the date of superannuation, whichever is earlier.
