Mumbai: Central Bank of India has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with IRCON International Ltd. to facilitate salary account services for IRCON’s permanent employees across its offices throughout India.

The partnership marks another step by the public sector lender towards strengthening its corporate banking relationships and expanding salary account services among employees of major organisations.

What the MoU Covers

Under the agreement, Central Bank of India will provide salary account facilities to permanent employees of IRCON International across its PAN-India offices.

The arrangement is expected to make banking services more accessible to employees while strengthening the association between the two public sector organisations.

Officials Present at the Signing

The MoU was signed by Shri Tarsem Singh Zira, Zonal Head, Central Bank of India, and Shri Mahadeb Mandal, General Manager, IRCON International Ltd.

Representing Central Bank of India at the event was Shri Vikash Purbey, Deputy General Manager.

From IRCON International, Ms Ragini Advani, Director Finance; Shri Alin Roy Chaudhary, Chief Financial Officer; and Ms Meenakshi Garg, JGM (F) were present.

Salary account tie-ups with large public sector organisations can help banks deepen their retail customer base while providing employees with access to a wider range of banking services.

For IRCON employees, the partnership provides a dedicated banking arrangement through Central Bank of India across the company's offices in India.
