Job Role

Director (Personnel & Industrial Relations) is a Board-level position reporting to the Chairman and Managing Director. The incumbent will head the Personnel Division and will be responsible for formulation and implementation of personnel policies of CIL and its subsidiaries.

Key Eligibility Criteria

• Age: Minimum 45 years (with residual service requirements as per category).

• Employment Status: Must be employed in regular capacity in CPSE, Central Government (Group A / AIS / Armed Forces), eligible SPSE, or private company/JV with annual turnover of ₹10,000 crore or more.

• Qualification: Graduate from a recognised university. Preference for PG Diploma/Degree in Personnel Management / HR / MBA / PGDM.

• Experience: Priority to candidates with strong HR/IR/Personnel background (detailed Category I, II & III criteria given in the advertisement).

• Pay Scale: Must meet the minimum length of service in the eligible scale (one year for internal candidates, two years for others).

Duration of Appointment

Five years from the date of joining or up to the date of superannuation, whichever is earlier.
