PNB Signs MoU With MSC India Consulting to Boost Last-Mile Credit Access

New Delhi, February 2, 2026Punjab National Bank (PNB) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with MSC India Consulting Pvt. Ltd. to strengthen last-mile access to formal credit and accelerate inclusive finance initiatives across India.

Under the partnership, PNB and MSC India Consulting will work together to expand financing support for women micro-entrepreneurs and reinforce the Self-Help Group (SHG)–Bank linkage programme, a key pillar of the country’s financial inclusion framework.

The collaboration aims to improve credit access within the National Rural Livelihoods Mission (NRLM) and State Rural Livelihoods Mission (SRLM) ecosystem by enabling structured financial linkages, capacity building, and smoother flow of institutional credit to underserved communities.

According to the bank, the initiative will help strengthen grassroots-level credit delivery, empower women-led enterprises, and promote sustainable livelihood opportunities in rural and semi-urban areas.
