PNB Signs MoU with TNSRLM to Boost Women-Led Self-Help Groups in Tamil Nadu

Punjab National Bank (PNB) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Tamil Nadu State Rural Livelihoods Mission (TNSRLM) to strengthen women-led economic initiatives across the state. The signing took place during the “Tamil Nadu Global Women Summit 2026” at the Nandambakkam Trade Centre, Chennai.

Punjab National Bank (PNB) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Tamil Nadu State Rural Livelihoods Mission (TNSRLM) to strengthen women-led economic initiatives across the state. The signing took place during the “Tamil Nadu Global Women Summit 2026” at the Nandambakkam Trade Centre, Chennai.

The MoU was executed by Sh. P Mahendar (ZM, PNB) in the presence of Sh. Udhayanidhi Stalin, Deputy Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, along with other senior government officials.

Under this strategic partnership, PNB will work closely with TNSRLM to enhance the business potential of Self-Help Groups (SHGs) across Tamil Nadu, promoting financial inclusion and sustainable growth. The collaboration aims to provide SHGs with improved access to banking services, credit facilities, and financial guidance, supporting women entrepreneurs in rural and semi-urban areas.

PNB reaffirmed its commitment to empowering women and strengthening livelihoods through inclusive banking solutions that drive economic development and community progress.
