Pranam Wahi appointed as an Additional Independent Director of Axis Bank Limited
Mr. Pranam Wahi has been appointed as an Additional Pranam Wahi appointed as an Additional Independent Director of Axis Bank LimitedDirector of Private lender Axis Bank Limited. The respective tenure is four years effective from 15 February 2024 to 14 February 2028.
The exchange filing released by the company stated, according to Regulation 30 of the SEBI Regulations, 2015, based on the recommendations of the Nomination and Remuneration Committee, the Board of Directors has appointed Pranam Wahi as an additional independent director of the Bank for four years with effect from 15 February 2024 up to 14 February 2028, subject to the approval of shareholders.
In terms of Section 149[13] of the Companies Act, 2013, he shall not be liable to retire by rotation during his tenure as an independent director of the Bank. He has almost 40 years of banking experience across various countries including India, UAE,/ GCC, Indonesia, and Singapore.
