SBI Credit Card New Rules, Ends Accident Insurance Benefits
According to the new rules mentioned by bank in its official website that now customers can not avail the avail the benefit of complimentary aeroplane accident cover of Rs. 1 crore.

New Delhi: India's Largest Public Sector Bank, State Bank of India recently announced several changes to its credit card facility which will affect mostly SBI credit card holders. These rule will be effectve from July 15, 2025. According to the new rules mentioned by bank in its official website that now customers can not avail the avail the benefit of complimentary aeroplane accident cover of Rs. 1 crore.
This huge amount was only on the premium cards like SBI Card ELITE, SBI Cards MileS ELITE, SBI Cards Miles Prime.

This Accident Insurance Benefits will be discontinued from July 15, Additionaly the Cover of up to Rs 50 lakh in free Insurance will be discontinued on SBI Card PRIME and SBI Card PULSE.
Apart from this the bank also changes rule of minimum amount due on the credit card bill, it will now include the 100% of GST amount, EMI balances, fees, finance charges and overlimit amount. i.e., 100% GST, 100% EMI, 100% Finance charges and other charges, Overlimit amount, 2% of outstanding amount.
