New Delhi: The Central Deputation Tenure of Shri Nitesh Kumar Vyas, IAS (MP:96), Additional Secretary, Ministry of Home Affairs is extended for a period of two years beyond 30.05.2026 i.e. up to 30.05.2028 or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
Shri Nitesh Kumar Vyas is an IAS officer of the 1996 batch, belonging from Madhya Pradesh cadre, and holds a B.E. in Electronics and Communication from Gujarat University and an M.E. in Electronics and Communication from Indian Institute of Science Bangalore.
He currently serves as the Deputy Election Commissioner at the Election Commission of India. He is fluent in English, Gujarati, and Hindi.
