Gurugram: RITES Ltd., a prime transport infrastructure consultancy, today signed an MoU with Damodar Valley Corporation (DVC), a statutory body under the Ministry of Power, to collaborate for Project Management Consultancy for rail infra works. The partnership aims at finding novel infrastructure solutions for the upgradation, renovation and development of rail connectivity for power plants and surrounding areas.

New Delhi: Damodar Valley Corporation signed a PPA with Solar Power Developer (SPD), ReNew Samir Shakti Private Limited on 23rd April 2024 at DVC Headquarters, Kolkata towards procurement of 200 MW of solar power. DVC is one of the pioneers to enter into a Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) for RE bundling with its thermal power to thrive for sustainability by significantly reducing the carbon footprint. 

Damodar Valley Corporation (DVC) will supply additional power of 250 Mega Volt Ampere (MVA) to Bokaro Steel Limited (BSL), a unit of Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL).

DVC organized Consumers’ Meet 2024 on the theme “Energizing Sustainability – A Path to Energy Conservation and Prosperity “for its Consumers of West Bengal at Durgapur on 05.04.2024.
