NTPC Singrauli successfully organised a three-day CSR Rural Sports Meet from January 30 to February 1, 2026, at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, reaffirming its commitment to grassroots development and community engagement.

The sporting event witnessed enthusiastic participation from over 1,500 young athletes representing villages located in and around the Singrauli region. Competitions were held across multiple disciplines, including cricket, football, kabaddi, athletics, and tug of war, creating a vibrant atmosphere of healthy competition and teamwork.

A key highlight of the event was the strong participation of women and girls, whose spirited performances drew widespread appreciation from spectators and organisers alike. Their involvement reflected growing encouragement for gender inclusivity and equal opportunities in rural sports.
