State-owned GAIL CGD East Singhbhum GA, in an exemplary milestone, has signed a landmark Gas Sales Agreement (GSA) with Tata Steel Ltd.
This agreement, for the supply of natural gas to the Combi-Mill plant in Jamshedpur, represents the largest industrial customer onboarding since the inception of GAIL's City Gas Distribution GA located in Varanasi, Patna, Ranchi, East Singhbhum, Cuttack, and Kordha.
The agreement will see a supply of natural gas starting at 31,000 SCMD, with a planned increase to 43,000 SCMD, reinforcing GAIL's commitment to transitioning India's industrial sector toward cleaner and more efficient operations.
