National Fertilizers Limited Appoints Shri Anurag Rohatgi as Government Nominee Director

National Fertilizers Limited (NFL), a Navratna Public Sector Undertaking under the Government of India, is pleased to announce the appointment of Shri Anurag Rohatgi as Government Nominee Director on its Board w.e.f. 19th December 2025. He succeeds Shri Bharat Shushan in this role.

Shri Rohatgi brings extensive experience in the fertilizer sector and public administration, currently serving as Joint Secretary in the Department of Fertilizers, Ministry of Chemicals & Fertilizers, Government of India. He has previously held key positions including Director on the Board of Hindustan Fertilizer Corporation Limited and Additional Director of Hindustan Urvarak & Rasayan Limited (HURL).

With a Master’s degree in Chemistry, Shri Rohatgi’s expertise spans fertilizer innovation, P&K fertilizers, organic fertilizers, international cooperation, and implementation of government schemes such as PM-Kisan. His appointment is for a period of three years or until superannuation, whichever is earlier.
