Sameena Kohli gets extension as additional charge of Director (Finance) at HMT Limited
Smt. Sameena Kohli brings in 32 years of rich experience in a wide range of finance operations with working in various capacities at BHEL.
Bangalore, 23 May 2025: The Competent Authority has approved the extension of the additional charge of the post of Director (Finance), HMT Limited, to Smt Sameena Kohli, General Manager (Finance), Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL), for a further period of one year w.e.f. 25.05.2025 to 24.05.2026, or till the joining of a regular incumbent, or until further orders, whichever is the earliest, subject to approval of the Appointment Committee of the Cabinet (ACC).
Smt. Sameena Kohli brings in 32 years of rich experience in a wide range of finance operations with working in various capacities at BHEL. She is serving as General Manager at BHEL, heading the Finance function of the Solar Business Division and Industrial Systems Group.
She brings along a rich & versatile experience in the manufacturing and service sector over a span of 3 decades. She is a qualified Cost Accountant & Company Secretary. As Head of Finance, she has been instrumental in expeditious project execution and cost control through close monitoring and fast resolution of issues involved.
