 AAI manages 125 airports with the responsibility of creating, upgrading, maintaining, and managing aviation.

New Delhi: Airport Authority of India priorities carbon neutrality and net zero carbon emission at its various airports. The statutory body is working towards achieving this and has been installing solar plants at its airports. 

Presently, 14 AAI airports are on 100% renewable energy. Airports that meet their operational requirements through renewable energy are Tezu airport, Kangra airport, Kullu airport, Shimla airport, Jammu airport, Srinagar airport, Leh airport, and Imphal airport.

Other airports on the list are Dimapur airport, Puducherry airport, pakyong airport, Kanpur airport, Dehradun airport and Patna airport. AAI manages 125 airports with the responsibility of creating, upgrading, maintaining, and managing aviation.
