India's Civil Aviation sector is expanding in terms of passenger traffic and aircraft movement. To cater to this increasing number and to provide the best air travel experience to the flyers, AAI has taken up the work of development.

AAI spent Rs 3206 cr in expansion and upgradation of airports
NEW DELHI- India's Civil Aviation sector is expanding in terms of passenger traffic and aircraft movement. To cater to this increasing number and to provide the best air travel experience to the flyers, AAI has taken up the work of development of new airports and expansion & upgradation of existing ones.
In the financial year of 2022-23 till Dec’22, AAI spent Rs 3,206 cr. on these works which include engineering work, Air Navigation Services, Airport System & Security, IT and other technical works.
