SJVN’s Bikaner solar project reaches halfway mark with 501.02 MW now operational
New Delhi, SJVN Limited has announced that its subsidiary, SJVN Green Energy Limited (SGEL), has started commercial operations for an additional 100.25 MW in its 1,000 MW Bikaner Solar Power Project. This brings the total operational capacity to 501.02 MW as of June 30, 2025.
In a revised filing submitted to the NSE and BSE under Regulation 30 of SEBI's LODR Regulations, 2015, SJVN explained that this update corrects a typographical error from its earlier communication on the same day.

The Bikaner Solar Power Project, among the largest solar projects in Rajasthan, is being developed in phases. The remaining capacity of 498.98 MW is expected to be commissioned soon, which will further support India’s clean energy transition goals.
The company confirmed that this information has been recorded and shared for investor awareness and to meet regulatory requirements.
