AAI's Vijayawada Airport successfully carried out Instrument Landing System
To ensure the safety of aircraft operations at AAI s Vijayawada Airport, the Flight Inspection Unit FIU has carried out successful flight calibration of landing aid i.e. Instrument Landing System ILS.

NEW DELHI- To ensure the safety of aircraft operations at AAI s Vijayawada Airport, the Flight Inspection Unit FIU has carried out successful flight calibration of landing aid i.e. Instrument Landing System ILS.
The calibration work was carried out by a specialised team, consisting of Flight Inspectors and well-trained pilots in assistance with the Ground Communications, Navigation and Surveillance CNS Engineers. It was to ensure and certify the validity and accuracy of the ILS signal in space.
