Anupama Bhatnagar, the new DG of IIMC
She took over as DG after the term of incumbent Prof. Sanjay Dwivedi came to an end on July 12, 2023.

New Delhi: Ms Anupama Bhatnagar has been assigned an additional charge of Director General of the Indian Institute of Mass Communication (IIMC).
She took over as DG after the term of incumbent Prof. Sanjay Dwivedi came to an end on July 12, 2023. ADG Dr. Nimish Rustagi and Prof. Govind Singh, Dean (Academic), welcomed her to the institute.

The institute was primarily established to provide training to the officers of the Indian Information Service.
